I am a 56 year old Mother and Grandmother. Working on the projects that I do at Art and Craft Matters has been of great importance to me.

I have had mental health problems since i was seventeen, nearly forty years ago, and although not always bad enough for hospital or doctor care, always in the background of my life, ready to flare up at any time.
This is why it is important to me to have a lifestyle and therapy help to prevent Crisis times.

The work I do at Art and Craft Matters is very absorbing as well as rewarding, and it helps me cope with the rest of the week. The workshop has a safe, friendly and productive atmosphere and I have made many new friends and acquaintances there.

The staff are also very helpful and patient. I really enjoy working with colors, shapes and materials, such as wood, plaster and different papers used in decoupage. Also all the varied techniques.

I hope in the future to remain well as possible and I know attending the Art and Craft Matters studio will take a great part in this.
